La semana pasada les enseñé fotografías que habíamos hecho en el colegio durante el acto de celebración de su aniversario; hoy quiero compartir unas tiernas imágenes que hemos hecho a "Tom", el amigo peludo que es considerado como dueño de la "iglesia".
Last week I showed you photos we took at school during its anniversary celebration; today I want to share some sweet pictures we took of "Tom," the furry friend who is considered the owner of the "church."
Les había comentado que me estoy preparando para mi "primera" "comunión", por eso los sábados y domingos concurro a misa en esta iglesia donde vive este precioso gatito. Este es el segundo año que asisto, y lo que siempre llama mi atención es por qué solo hay un gato, ya que otras iglesias de la ciudad están llenas de ellos.
I mentioned before that I'm preparing for my First Communion, so on Saturdays and Sundays I attend Mass at this church where this lovely little cat lives. This is my second year going, and what always catches my attention is why there's only one cat, since other churches in the city are full of them.
Resultó ser que "Tom" es toda una celebridad; por lo que comentan las hermanas, él vive allí desde hace mucho tiempo y, desde su llegada, los demás gatos que habitan allí se retiraron. It turns out that "Tom" is quite the celebrity; according to the sisters, he's lived there for a long time, and since his arrival, the other cats who live there have left. The curious thing is that no one ever sees the cat fight with the others; it's as if they talk amongst themselves, and Tom claims to own every space in the church.
Otro dato curioso es que jamás entro en las instalaciones de la iglesia, algo que los gatos anteriores lo hacían con mucha frecuencia habiendo sus necesidades allí mismo; en ese aspecto las hermanas dicen que ¨Ton¨ no es normal, ya que nunca tuvieron que limpiar sus necesidades, incluso nunca ha sentido olor a su orina, algo muy frecuente donde viven los gatos.
Another interesting fact is that it never entered the church premises, something the previous cats did very frequently, even relieving themselves there; In that respect, the sisters say that "Ton" is not normal, since they've never had to clean up after him, and they've never even smelled his urine, something very common where cats live.
