Hello to all the followers of this beautiful "Feel"-"Good"-"Community": It's great that I'm once again accompanying Mr. @untilwelearn in his wonderful "Phone"-"Photography"-"Contest": which allows me to share with everyone the things we do in my city during the summer days.
Le vengo comentando que ha bajado mucho la temperatura, y que estos últimos días el frío es extremo; aunque estamos disfrutando y descansando de los días calurosos, debo decir que tanto frío me hace extrañar los días cálidos y nuestras visitas que acostumbramos hacer a la costa.
I've been telling you that the temperature has dropped a lot, and that these last few days it's been extremely cold; although we're enjoying and resting from the hot days, I must say that so much cold makes me miss the warm days and our usual trips to the coast.
Hay épocas en que mi ciudad se vuelve extrema; cuando hace frío, realmente se siente, y cuando hace calor, la temperatura puede subir mucho. Cuando eso sucede, es insoportable, por eso digo que en ocasiones mi ciudad puede llegar a ser un poco extrema.
There are times when my city becomes extreme; when it's cold, you really feel it, and when it's hot, the temperature can rise a lot. When that happens, it's unbearable, which is why I say that sometimes my city can be a bit extreme.
Por suerte, en los días pesados del verano, tenemos la ribera para visitar y refugiarnos en las sombras de los árboles que están al borde de las playas. Eso es lo bueno de los balnearios de aquí, que puedes pasar tiempo en el agua o bien bajo las sombras de los árboles.
Luckily, on hot summer days, we have the riverbank to visit and take refuge in the shade of the trees that line the beaches. That's the great thing about the seaside resorts here: you can spend time in the water or under the shade of the trees.
Como esta semana ha sido uno de los más fríos, hemos estado viendo las fotografías que hemos hecho el verano pasado, para calentar un poco el ambiente y no sentir tanto el frío que está haciendo. No me malinterpreten, me gusta el invierno, pero cuando hace demasiado frío, extraño el verano.
Since this week has been one of the coldest, we've been looking at the photos we took last summer to warm things up a bit and not feel the cold so much. Don't get me wrong, I like winter, but when it's too cold, I miss summer.
