On this day, I want to fondly remember my beautiful sister. We're not together right now; she lives in Colombia, and I haven't seen her for over a year. In this beautiful photo, which is a great memory and treasure for me, my sister is pregnant with a beautiful little girl named Kathaleya, now two years old. A miracle life sent my sister, who had always wanted a girl, and while trying for the baby, she gave birth to two boys.
But as life takes some interesting turns, 16 years after having her last child, fate surprises her with a beautiful little girl, the light of her eyes, the darling of Mom and Dad. She is a much-loved girl, very intelligent, full of health and life.
I pray for my sister, her children, her husband, and especially for this beautiful girl, a life full of blessings, health, success, and much prosperity.
This photo holds great meaning for me because my sister's story moves me. Those who have children know why. Tired of waiting for so many years and hoping to have a daughter, when you least expect it, you receive the great surprise you've been waiting for, but were resigned to never experiencing.
My sister and her family are in Colombia, looking for a better life, missing a country that didn't give them opportunities to develop as professionals. Colombia opened the door for them, and they are fighting for a life full of triumphs where, despite adversity, they have managed to forge a better future.

En este día, quiero recordar con cariño a mi hermosa hermana. No estamos juntas ahora mismo; vive en Colombia y no la he visto en más de un año. En esta hermosa foto, que es un gran recuerdo y un tesoro para mí, mi hermana está embarazada de una hermosa niña llamada Kathaleya, que ya tiene dos años. Un milagro de la vida la envió, mi hermana siempre había deseado una niña, y mientras buscaba a la niña, dio a luz a dos niños.
Pero como la vida da giros inesperados, 16 años después de tener a su último hijo, el destino la sorprende con una hermosa niña, la luz de sus ojos, la niña mimada de mamá y papá. Es una niña muy querida, muy inteligente, llena de salud y vida.
Oro por mi hermana, sus hijos, su esposo y, especialmente, por esta hermosa niña: una vida llena de bendiciones, salud, éxito y mucha prosperidad para ellos, porque son ejemplo de lucha y perseverancia.
Esta foto tiene un gran significado para mí porque la historia de mi hermana me conmueve. Quienes tienen hijos saben el por qué. Cansados de esperar tantos años y con la esperanza de tener una hija, cuando menos lo esperan, reciben la gran sorpresa que han estado esperando en sueños, porque ya se habían resignado a no vivirla en la realidad.
Como padres lograron concebir su más grande sueño.
Mi hermana y su familia están en Colombia, buscando una vida mejor, extrañando un país que no les dio oportunidades para desarrollarse profesionalmente. Colombia les abrió las puertas y luchan por una vida llena de triunfos donde, a pesar de la adversidad, han logrado forjar un futuro mejor.
