It’s #Alt2k Wednesday! Aka Alternative tunes from the 2000’s (2000 - 2019) We each share a DailyJam & a BonusJam! This week we’ll pick both our tunes from the same album to keep things organized.
Ashlee picks a record Gene introduced her to a few years back. The band is Royal Blood, from Brighton, England. The album is 2014’s “How Did We Get So Dark?”. DailyJam is the song “Where Are You Now” which we both remember being featured in HBO’s Vinyl show. For BonusJam it’s the song “ Lights Out”.
Gene picks Queens Of The Stone Age who’s one of the few rock and roll bands who broke during the 2000’s and have stuck around for decades and considered a classic band who is already among the greats in my opinion. Picking the 2013 album “Like Cockwork” We’ll go with “If I Had A Tail” for DailyJam & For BonusJam it’s “ I Sat by the Ocean”. Enjoy these 2013 & 2014 tunes!
