The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon have eliminated the defending champions - the Super Falcons of Nigeria from the ongoing WAFCON championship in Morocco.
The Cameroonian drew the blood in the 19th minute of the game and held unto the slim (1-0) lead up to half time.
Nigerians ladies came all out smoking in the second half and almost found the equalizer but the Cameroonian goaltender had other ideas. The shot-stopper produced one of the saves of the tournament in the 70th minute, stretching out in full, using a strong hand to punch away Uchenna Kanu's powerful header to preserve her side's slim lead.
That was how it went till the final whistle of the game. Cameroon have thus qualifed for the semis and also the World Cup in Brazil. Kudos to them too.
