Saturday sneaked in like a ninja. I thought today was Wednesday, and I couldn't help but chuckle when I checked today's date. The month is surely on a fast track.
I never thought I'd be able to make a post today on actifit, but as Justin Beieber said, "Never say never." It has been raining unexpectedly here, or perhaps, let's just say I haven't been using the 'Weather Forecast app' on my phone. I mostly prefer looking at the sky and trying to deduce how the day might turn out to be.
Since I prefer evening/night walks, I haven't been able to go out for a walk as much as I want because it always rains at that period or a few hours before that. So, I just do a little walk around my home or go to places not far from home to stretch my limbs.
However, today, the reverse was the case. The rain started very early, and it felt like it was on a journey of continuity but decided to give me or someone else out there a pass. Before noon, the sky was a bit clearer, and I could go out. The air that filled my nostril as my feet hit the rocky sand was amazing. I didn't just go for a walk but hiked a little, too. The weather was nicer (a gift "after-rain" always dishes out), and since the road around here is tiled, it was easier to move with no mud stuck to my shoes.
It was amazing seeing new faces and buildings, too. I went to the closest market to my place, which is a very long walk, and I got things to cook tonight. I also saw a new restaurant opening. I could have taken a picture, but the road was busy. Plus, I didn't want to get home too late because I planned on cooking dinner.
On my way back home, the weather changed a little, causing me to hasten my steps, but it didn't rain. Instead, I got home on time, cooked, and did all that was needed to end the day. Now, it is time to take a nap call it a night. Today ended well, and hopefully, tomorrow will be better.
Are you trying to fall asleep? Or do you need a relaxing song? Here's one to help with a good night's rest.

Thanks for reading and listening.
Peace be unto those who crave it and more to those who chase it away.
