Have you ever been so busy that 24 hours feels like it isn't enough? Well, I am in that sort of position right now. One moment, it seems there is still time before night, and the next minute, it feels like night just came really fast... so fast than "Flash" himself, and it keeps you wondering…
"How the hell is it night already?" Lol.
It is kinda funny how busy I have become with getting things straight in life and just giving my all in such a way that I don't end up draining myself to the bone.
Yesterday, I thought I would be able to come online and publish a post. But the inspiration wasn't just there. I could remember staring at my keyboard... writing, deleting, and nothing just made sense to me. After a very long minute of nothing, I did work offline and decided to go for a walk later.
By the time I was through with everything, darkness had already taken shape, but that didn't stop me from taking a walk. I know I needed that fresh air, and I got it.
When I got home, I was a bit clear-headed. The walk seemed to have worked. It was super late when I got in, so I didn't do much, I just showered, ate, and went to sleep.
Today... Today started in an early tune for me. And I got good news;
"She's here!!!"
Finally, I was able to adopt a female kitten. She's little and fragile. Today was all for her coming, and when she finally did, she just went to hide. At first, I let her be and before I knew it, she started meowing and was just going everywhere:- From the room, to kitchen, parlour, and every single room she could step into. It was nice watching her, though I felt a bit sad because her meowing sounded very sad.
You can see by her looks that she's pweeetie. For her, I'll be giving 2 hbd to anyone who gets her color correctly with just 2 trials. So if you think you are up for it, give it a go.
She must miss her home and her friends, and I wish I had gone for two kittens instead of one. I know it won't be easy getting her on my side because I noticed she is shy and... I really don't know, lol.
I cooked for her, and she ate after so much persuasion. I am giving her time to settle in, and hopefully, she will come closer.
Before then, I had a busy day today as well, and I almost thought I wouldn't be able to come online, but fate must have another story up its sleeves cos... Here I am despite my busy schedule, going out and having so much to do.
I decided to cook spaghetti with lots of carrot, which I named "Spaghettid carrot meal" for myself before preparing more food for my new kitten. I have given her name, and hopefully, in my next post or another, I'll see if I have another little token to spare to give anyone that gets her name correctly.
Now that I have eaten, I think I'll turn in early today or watch a TV show before doing that.
