Ah... the feeling of waking up to the crow of rooster is so superb and unexplainable. After days and days of intense rain, today's weather gave the rainbow vibe, which was actually cool! Yes, I did love the rain and still do, but not being able to do laundry wasn't that cool.
With the way the weather was today, you'd think I'd finally do laundry. I mean, I thought that as well, but my body wasn't really 'thougthing' with me. I felt tired despite having a good night's sleep and just wanted to stay rooted on my bed like a hundred year old tree, but... I couldn't.
I had to push myself outta bed and engage in my morning activities before going on full mode into cleaning the home, which was cool at the beginning. I was able to sweep, mop, wash the wall, and... it didn't end there.
I felt a deep rush of energy in my soul as I worked on that it felt like I would be doing laundry. However, the "highness" died down the moment I made a little slip, mostly common among us whenever we were working. You know the thought of just sitting down a bit to take a breath, right? Yeah... that one. I know we can't stop that thought from coming through our minds, but we sure can work on the action. And, I should have.
The little slip put an abrupt end to the windy energy in my soul, and I had to force myself into the kitchen to cook and before heading to shower. I had some work to do online, which took a few hours. After that, I finally let the relaxation settle in with a Korean drama, "Trauma Code," and it did wonders to my cheek. I just couldn't help laughing.
Having planned on going out grocery shopping later, I made my list after a few episodes before leaving home for an evening walk of grocery shopping. The road was busier than usual , and it felt like they just released people from some sort of prison, lol. The honking sound of cars and the unnecessary presence of their lights were a bit upsetting, but I didn't let that get to me.
After shopping, I hurried back home not because of the drama but mostly because of the peace and quietness that surrounds the street. I took a little walk around, breathing in nature's air before finally opening the gate to my home.

Thanks for reading.
Peace be unto those who crave it and more to those who chase it away.
