It was hard to get out of bed today, but in the end, the sunshine beat the tiredness. I was in bed early yesterday, at 9pm. Duolingo was done by 9.20pm. And then I picked up the book... The Road by McCarthy. Such an impressive read. Very close to home for a parent, so also hard to read. He catches the sentiment of love and desperation in a disturbingly beautiful way. So it was around 10.30pm when I laid down the book and convinced myself to go to sleep.

I still have that cough thing going on, but it goes away in the morning, which is good. After coughing up quite a bit of mucus, though. Good that nobody is there to see that... It was market day, and it was a sunny day, and that means everyone is in a good mood. I like that. Who wouldn't? I didn't really sell much, unfortunately, but my spreads are just the side gig to the bread business, and Daniel sold very well. I really don't have to worry. Whatever I make is a nice extra, but not essential. What a luxury!

I spent the afternoon running around helping Daniel with the preparation for his big event on Saturday, plus getting my own things in order. I even dropped by my brothers appartment to pick up a table and chairs for the event. Running up 8 flights of stairs 2 times. And carrying stuff down. That should've helped my steps...

In the afternoon I had a good talk with a friend of mine, then a lawyer, then my girlfriend. And now it's late again, and I noticed that I can't login to Actifit. Oh well, if not today, tomorrow. There's always something... Good night!
