Market day! This time I did go. I didn’t feel like selling, and yet I sold around 40$ worth of product. And it was a very, very slow day. We even had a lot of bread left, which is rarely the case. It seems like many expats have already left for the northern hemisphere where the weather is improving now, week by week. In theory at least.

We’re taking advantage and are working on new types of bread. While I already gave my recipes for Olive Bread, Mediterranean Bread and Coconut Buns to the bakers so they can try to implement it in their baking routines, Danny has come up with a whole new section of buns for restaurants only. They’re not our typical type of bread, but aim more to what restaurants want – fluffy, greasy, with a little sweetness. Nothing that I like, but the bakers love it and if it’s another revenue/income stream for the company, why not try it out?

Nero came back in time for his medicine today. He’s sleeping on my bed now, after eating quite a bit. It seems like he’s roaming the neighborhood day and night. This morning, he came in at 3am – wet and cold, as it was raining. Of course, he shared the wet and cold with me. How nice of him. Not.

Well, he had me awake, and since he hadn’t come for his medicine time, I gave him some food to fill the stomach and then forced the medicine-tuna-water-combo in his mouth. He does not enjoy it, but at least he doesn’t draw blood from my skin as he does with pills.

Since I didn’t really catch much sleep after that, I rested a lot today. Read another chapter to Lily. Went veggie shopping. And then of course Tang Soo Do class with Kami. She’s really getting better, loosening up a lot, having more fun and improving her posture, speed and force. I’m so glad she agreed to do that with me. I hope she’ll stick to it during the vacations, too. That’s usually the time it becomes more of a drag to do regular classes. At least it was for me in that age. We’ll see.

Time to go to bed! Thank you for reading, and have a good night!
