Sorry to read about your hearing loss. I hope you get it under control with today's amazing modern technologies. There are so many impressive devices on the market... I'm surrounded by a lot of elderly expats, and they sometimes show me what they can do. Basically a smart phone in your ear by now, with all kinds of functions. But expensive.

Magnolias grow a lot around here. Lily likes to make arrangements with all stages of the lowers - the cone, the flower, and the seed pods. She loves to arrange stuff and has a pretty good eye for that. I guess from her mother, who is also talented in crafts.

I love squirrels as well, but have a joke of a war with the one near our place as he ALWAYS beats me to the walnuts! He harvests them before they are even ready! Not fair I say, but I let him have them anyway, lol!

I'm probably eventually going to do the hearing aids. For right now, I'm working with 'brown noise' and seeing if that helps. I got some help from ChatGPT in regards to setting the sliders. I should know within a week or two, if it's going to help reduce the hissing and tone sound that I have. If it does, I might continue to work with it to see how far it reduces things before doing anything with the hearing aids. Time will tell.

Flower arranging with Lily could eventually wind up being a career for her. Tell her to keep doing it, for as she grows, it will to.
