Today felt like one of those days where your to-do list turns into a horror movie, just when you think it’s over, there’s another jump scare. Meetings, emails, deadlines… chaos.
By the time I escaped the laptop’s gravitational pull, I was about 93% brain fog. But I laced up, stepped out, and let the canal do its thing. There’s something meditative about walking beside still water, under a sky that looks like it’s auditioning for a drama series. Just trees, leaves, and that slow-moving barge named “Mi Barco” reminding me: go at your own pace.
I logged 8,000 steps and 6.5 km, not headline-grabbing, but hey, movement is movement. Then came the reward: a dinner plate that looked like art and tasted even better. A juicy steak, roasted roots, and sauce that made my taste buds cry happy tears.
One walk. One solid dinner. One small win. Sometimes, that’s all you need.
