They said the coming weeks would be chaos. They weren’t wrong.
Today was stacked, calls, deadlines, meetings where the mute button saved lives. But here’s the thing: the busier life gets, the more I crave simplicity. A quiet path. A sky that doesn’t ask anything of you. Trees that change without needing approval.
So, I walked. Twice. Totaled 13,000 steps and 11.5 kilometers of pure decompression. That’s not a flex, it’s survival.
One of the routes took me past this canal that looked like it had been Photoshopped by nature herself. Reflections so sharp it made me question reality. The other? A mushroom hiding in the dew-drenched grass, straight out of a fairy tale.
I don’t walk to escape. I walk to reset. Because no to-do list ever felt clearer than after 90 minutes of uninterrupted forward motion.
Here’s your reminder: when the schedule’s full, steal time. Nature doesn’t care about your Outlook calendar, and that’s exactly why it helps.
