Today, with the fatigue, I didn't have the energy to walk 10,000 steps, but I almost did, and that's what matters, right?
I spent more time on work files and projects than on walking. I didn't think about it at all. I just went about my day as usual, got something to eat, and saw friends at the pub.
I admit, I almost forgot to post today's results. It was when I saw the app button in red on my phone that I thought of it. I originally just wanted to check the time, but here it is.
Well, in the end I still took the steps, I said to myself, one last effort, I need 1000, so I went around in circles in the house, walked along this corridor up and down for 30 minutes listening to the music, all that just for pride, to be able to say today 10,000 steps, that's done, just a personal pleasure, I'll try to do better tomorrow, if the weather permits.
I've read on blogs that it's recommended to write long articles. Some say 600 words, others 300, and still others 100 words minimum, like "ACTIFIT." But I've bored you enough with my steps and don't really know what to say. To make the text longer, I'm trying to write what comes to mind, but basically, I just want to publish the results via the "ACTIFIT" app.
But since I've mostly been working on files today and haven't seen much daylight, I don't really know what to tell you that's interesting.
But you saw, I did like our politicians, talking a lot, beating around the bush, and finally saying nothing to you, or saying things outside the basic question.
But without you realizing it, I have exceeded the 300 words recommended by some, and I am not going to force it to 600 words, although I could by telling you that today, I also made something to eat, some grilled potatoes, a beef steak, some sauce, and you see all of it with a good amber beer, nothing interesting in itself, you will agree.
But there you go, even though I wrote all this for nothing, in the end, the 400 words are already there, and while I'm writing this message, I'm simultaneously wondering what clothes I'm going to wear tomorrow, since the weather forecast predicts rain all day, even though it's often better to open the shutters in the morning and look at the sky for a better forecast.
Anyway, whether it's hot, cold, sunny, rainy, or snowy, what can you do about it other than acclimatize yourself for the current day?
Not much, I'll admit.
But here we are, frantically typing on this phone keyboard, getting through the 450 words quite easily, but still to tell you nothing, my mind wanders and my fingers write on this damn keyboard, whereas initially I just wanted to tell you that I had trouble getting past 10,000 steps, but I did it anyway.
While we're writing, we're waiting for the tea maker to finish heating our water. As usual, it will alert us with its shrill whistle, which means the tea is ready, and as usual, we'll have to wait 10 minutes for it to reach a drinkable temperature for a human mouth.
We'll probably watch an episode of a series while we wait.
And as usual, it will take us 15 minutes to choose the episode from the almost infinite catalog of streaming platforms.
and there you realize it, I made you wait 600 words in a row, and immediately the screen scan of the day's activity.
