Hello friends, happy new month to you. I pray that the new month attracts new levels of blessings, amen.
Yesterday, I woke up to prepare for working at around 6am. Work for me yesterday was, applying black oil paint to the iron protection surrounding the house, for the windows and doors.
Well, I have noticed from movies that foreign houses don't have these iron protectors (popularly known as buglary iron here in Nigeria). But here it is one of the essentials when building a house to prevent thieves from gaining easy access to the building.
And as well all know. Iron starts to rust when. Exposed to air and water, so chemicals like oil paint needs to be applied to prevent rusting, it also adds to the beautification of the house.
I was able to finish up the windows yesterday, but not the exterior. It began to rain just when I was about to start painting it around 4:30 pm after a long day without sunshine.
The rain didn't last for more than 20 minutes, but by the time it stopped, I Couldn't continue painting because the ironing railings/protection was wet and the oil paint wasn't staying on it as it should.
So this morning, when it gets bright, I would have to finish up what I started yesterday.
Enjoy the new month 🥰☺️
