Today was a typical Friday workday for teachers. Every Friday I work with my first-year students and a group of fourth-year students. I've always felt that Fridays are a bit more relaxed, perhaps because we know the weekend is coming and we're excited for those two days off, so we see Friday as something very positive.

The first-year students are a bit rowdy, and the class sizes are quite high, which affects how well the class runs. However, today, Friday, they behaved relatively well, and the good thing is that in my class, they're usually busy with activities during the two class periods. My subject lends itself to all sorts of activities.

During the break, I went to get some coffee, and just as I was going up the stairs to the fourth-year office where they make our vital liquid, I saw this beautiful flower on one of the steps. I thought the flower was beautiful, small and vulnerable.
