Never heard of honey cake and will look for recipes to try this one out. This cake and presentation is first class and happy birthday to your daughter.

This honey cake is a bit more refined than the traditional honey cake, but still super close taste wise to the original version. Original version usually doesn't include black currant filling, and is a bit more bold tasting and buttery.
