You can just imagine how hard hit the area was when office workers worked from home and the businesses have never recovered. The place looks dead even if it is downtown and businesses moving further out towards the suburbs is a trend happening in other countries around the world. I would not even walk in Johannesburg city center these days as it is not safe.
