There are many examples of beautiful flowers on display right now in the Canary Islands. The hibiscus, which is featured in my main picture here. A flower you can find everywhere here.
But there is another worth noting. Oleander is another shrub in full bloom and looking magnificent. My close-up shows a white version. It comes in other colours, too. Yesterday, I took some pictures of the Sunday market where there is a whole avenue of these flowers. We walked the same path today, this time without the market stalls.
Here is another fine example of another pink flowering shrub.
Later, we discovered an abandoned bistro bar under the palm trees. It must have been a nice place to eat when it was busy. It is sad to see this, and there are other sites here that have also closed down.
On a better note, my last picture shows the view from a restaurant table where we stopped for lunch today. A really nice way to spend an hour or so before heading for the beach! 😁
