It was market day here in Caleta de Fuste. After breakfast, we headed straight to the place where the market is situated, next to the main road through town. There were lots of stalls there, mainly bags, shoes and trinkets, etc. After a short browse, I kind of switched off a bit, but the missus enjoyed it! 🤣.
After that excitement, we needed a drink, so it was off to the nearest beach front bar!
We covered a lot of distance today, walking around the bay to the shopping centre and back. The weather was good, not too hot, with the usual breeze that is familiar here in Fuerteventura.
We encountered a little friend along the way. One of the native ground squirrels that look a lot like chipmunks. They come quite close looking for food. People leave monkey nuts for them. You can see the dicarded shells everywhere!
