The roses are looking tired now but I managed to find a nice specimen amonst the shrivelled and tired looking ones.

The days are shortening now, and it is evident every evening as the sun goes down. The good side is that we are having a mini heatwave with temperatures increasing each day now towards next week when we could see 30° plus again! At least for a few days. It might be the last gasp before autumn sets in. 😕
