The summer heat may be fading slowly now, but there are still many examples of beautiful flowers around.
The wild fruit yield is amazing! Fruit pie and homemade wine enthusiasts will be in their element this year. Once upon a time, I tried making my own wine. It is not as easy as it sounds, and cleanliness is of the upmost importance, keeping out bugs and bacteria from infecting the fermentation process. But, it is worth it, and with practice, you can become very good at making a great drinkable product. Elderberries were my favourite fruit to use with bananas for a full-bodied result. 🤪
