Tilgate Park is a lovely place to lose yourself for a while in peace and quiet. There is a motorway which bisects the forest although you wouldn't know because any traffic noise is effectively shielded by the trees.
I took my daughter and her young son there today to enjoy a massive bouncy castle called Monster Jump. It is truly massive, and adults can also play for a fee, of course 😉.
Having something like this attracts many people, especially in the school holidays, and today was no exception. The grass areas were quite packed with families enjoying a picnic.
I took my pictures from the childrens play area before the usual afternoon busy period got started.
