A break between weather fronts! We had a really wet morning while out shopping, then having lunch in a nice farm shop tea room. It was still raining when we left for home.
The amazing thing is that this could very easily have been our summer, like past years.
When we get heavy rain at this time of year, it knocks all the acorns off the oak trees. The ground in the car park is littered with them! This makes for a dangerous situation because they are like stepping on marbles! 🤣
