I started the day with a brisk walk around the block to get the blood flowing and loosen the joints. It was lightly raining, but that didn't dampen my spirit at all. I took an extra loop around a local cricket ground, which has a tarmac path all the way around the perimeter.
That was a good start, but there was much more as the short walk amounted to only 5k steps!
The bulk of my step count comprised of a shopping trip and the rest by walking around a hospital again!
This was strictly not for pleasure, but it surely boosted the days' activity no end.
