I recorded two walks on my GPS watch today. The first was a walk into town to meet with family members for a coffee. That covered a little over one mile in distance. That was nice, so afterwards, I decided to take another circular walk, eventually ending back at home. This time, the distance was 2.5 miles.
The route took me into good old Goffs Park, always a nice way to enjoy a walk. I continued through the park and out the other side onto the town bypass.
Following the main road around for about half a mile. The roadside track is good, having been resurfaced recently and doubles as a cycling path. This is a good way to cover some ground while walking for exercise, and it's good to get away from clostrophobic housing estates, too.
