As promised, the sun came out today. A nice cool 13°C and wall to wall sunshine 🌞.
I just had to make the most of it and get out for a ride. Keeping off the wet tracks and out of the deep forest until we have had a more prolonged dry spell. I still managed to get a bit muddy though, as even the hard tracks can be wet at this time of year.

In Goffs Park I actually turned around at one point to change my route to avoid a sticky patch. I was so carried away by the sunshine, it seemed like midsummer! 😆.

These are the conditions we have been waiting for. Another couple of weeks like this will dry up the tracks enough to go anywhere. It's not guaranteed of course but we'll see.

Today I decided to take Worth Way just a short distance to the top of a hill where I took the main picture into the sun. I turned around at this point to head back to Tilgate Lake.

Whilst in Tilgate Park I passed a curious looking tree. It looked like a minature bonsai tree. 😁

Tilgate park is well looked after by our local council, as are all the local parks. I just wonder if this tree has been deliberately trimmed or maybe it just developed like this after some damage.
