The wild garlic is coming along nicely. This is a good patch of the pungent plant. There are many places where it grows around here, and in some woodlands it covers the ground like a carpet of white when the flowers bloom. The smell can be very overpowering too. A real feachure of our english woods together with the bluebells, although they don't usually occupy the same places.
Tomorrow is forecast to be the warmest day this year. At last we are seeing a change in seasonal weather from colder to warmer.
