A garden is not complete without a neatly trimmed yew! Worth Park Gardens have some nice ones. Simple design but effective.
The sunshine was really warm today but out of the sun there was a chilly breeze. It is not summer yet, and a jacket is still required but that's ok. It was nice to get out for a while and stretch the legs for a bit.
We walked down through the park to the lake which was also looking good in the sunshine. We couldn't see any swans here but there are plenty of canada geese. No offspring yet but that wont be long now.
Take a look at the large information board about this attractive park which once formed part of the grounds of a large manor house.
