Goffs Park is one of our many town public parks. This park is also very close to the town centre, being just a stones throw from commercial areas. I took a quick walk through today on a 30 minute circuit.

A mainline railway runs along one side of the park and access is by footbridge on this side.
A pitch and putt golf course is situated at one end and is a great way to spend a few hours having fun.

On a fine day like today it is uplifting to walk in open spaces like this park. I passed through mid morning and sadly only passed a few people. I am amazed that so few people come here.
Occasionally, the council allow a funfair or circus to setup here for a weeks or so. I personally think it is best enjoyed as it is in it's natural state.
My exit from the park was via the level crossing at one corner. Today, I managed to get across without waiting. It can be several minutes wait when the gates close, always a minor irritation 🤣.
