As usual, the Garibaldi Gallery is awaiting the gigantic influx of tourists that is raging in the city for this Christmas 2025, and it seems paradoxical to see such an empty environment when on the streets of Spaccanapoli you can hardly walk on foot through the crowds.
Even in Giugliano in Campania, the Christmas markets are much more beautiful than those in the Neapolitan capital. After all, this is Naples, a city of great traditions that is struggling to modernize due to the difficulty in managing the large mass of archaeological structures present in the city.

È un'alba frenetica e al terminal degli autobus la città si mostra dinamica, Alive and thriving già ai bagliori di questo magnifico sabato prima delle festività natalizie in cui i colori si mescolano alle attività turistiche di accoglienza.
Ma mentre c'è vita a Napoli io sto ancora qui ad aspettare l'autobus che tarda un po' ad arrivare e sono in attesa con in mano una busta piena di regali da portare a mio figlio Gaetano.
Mentre da un lato l'alba accende la giornata dall'altro lato appena illumina il cielo anche se finalmente l'autobus arriva e posso partire per questa lunga giornata piena di impegni.
Come al solito la galleria Garibaldi è in attesa del gigantesco flusso dei turisti che sta imperversando in città per questo Natale 2025 e sembra un paradosso vedere un ambiente così vuoto quando per le strade di Spaccanapoli difficilmente si può camminare a piedi per la ressa.
Anche a Giugliano in Campania i mercatini di Natale sono davvero molto più belli rispetto a quelli presenti nel capoluogo partenopeo. Del resto questa è Napoli una città di grandi tradizioni che fa fatica a rimodernarsi per la difficoltà a gestire la grande mole di strutture archeologiche presenti in città.
Sui gonfiabili mio figlio Gaetano ha avuto la missione di tenere sotto attenta osservazione quell'esplosiva forza della natura che è la sua sorellina più piccola e nei suoi occhi si legge tutta la sua premura verso la bambina.
Nascosto nella tenda Gaetano ha trovato il suo idolo ovvero il Grinch e non so chi tra i due meglio interpretasse la mitica smorfia della creatura che non si trova tanto a suo agio in questo periodo.
Il tempo vola e in men che non si dica mi sono ritrovato davanti alla stazione di piazza Garibaldi al rientro a casa dopo una magnifica giornata di festeggiamenti.
E mentre cominciava la mia rincorsa verso l'ultimo autobus del pomeriggio che saluto tutti gli straordinari creatori di contenuti della blockchain di Hive.
