Happy Friday! 😁………My Actifit Report Card: May 2 2025

Cyle is chillin’ because he’s happy it’s Friday too! 😻

It means his human is home from work and doesn’t have to go back for a few days. 😽

I’m glad it’s Friday as well. The day was super busy in the morning; so much so, I couldn’t actually do any of the orders for the patients as I was kept busy out front. Things slowed down in the afternoon for the doc as he had no appointments after 1 PM. ME? Well that’s another story! I was trying to get all of the work from the morning’s appointments done, however between the phone and people coming to pick up or to order, I wasn’t able to process as quickly as I wanted. My gal Friday wasn’t in and none of the coworkers offered to help, so I was left to fend for myself. 🙄

I did eventually get it all done. I was even able to leave some tasks for Monday for the doc’s mom to do. Next week on all three days of appointments is destined to be a repeat. I figure I won’t get it all done as that’s three days of probably mostly booked days. 😏

For now though, it’s the start of the weekend and next week will take care of itself! No real special plans for the weekend other than church on Sunday. On Monday, we have a dump truck load of logs coming, so that should make for some interesting photos!

As I said yesterday, ‘shrooms are a bit short so far this spring, but Hoof fungus is rampant! Enjoy the photos, especially the colorful Hoof fungi!

This one almost looks like it’s leaving a trail behind.

I live in the forest, so we have them on the property (5 acres) that we have. However, there are tons of them everywhere, and some places have varying colors, like some of the ones in this post. There is so much to see and we look for it all!

Hey there @joanstewart! Thank you for the wishes. May your weekend be a lovely one for you as well.

Cyle is an indoor only kitty as is Cot. There's so much here that can shorten a kitty's life; we've even had a neighbor on another road shoot one of ours and actually didn't kill it, but boy was he in bad, bad shape. He survived, but with health complications. Since that incident, our kitties are indoor only.

My younger sons little cat is also an indoor cat, gets excursions into garden under supervision always. Too many incidents with cats being hurt/stolen outdoors, safety first always.
