Happy Caturday y’all! Cot is looking bright eyed and bushy tailed for sure! As you can see in the next photo, Cyle has TOES!

Shopping day! I slept in later than I can when working, but was out of bed shortly after 8:00 AM. A little bit of sleeping in. Once up and to a point where we could leave, we headed first to Walmart and then to Costco. It had rained overnight and although they’d called for rain today, it didn’t materialize. Just look at the Big Sky as we got out of the car.
Lots of things to see there as always, but we were going up and down the aisles of the non-grocery items hoping we’d find some kind of pad or mat to put under the inflatable hot tub. The concrete pad that housed our old broken ‘hard’ hot tub, was clear and ready thanks to some intense labor on @silvertop’s part while I was working this past week. We actually did find some 3/4” thick locking gym floor tiles that after a bit of research while lounging in a patio swing on display, decided to purchase for this hot tub application. It was less expensive than other options on Amazon, so we popped two packages in the cart.
We shopped and got the rest of what we needed and headed out to the car. Here’s a couple more ‘sky’ pics to enjoy!
We took an unfamiliar road heading back towards Lynden. It wasn’t long before it crossed a road I knew well. Destination: Starbucks! We both needed a shot of caffeine and my weekly baked apple croissant. Before we headed inside, Bill and Agi called. They were out in the elk field letting Phoenix play. She was covered in mud from her head to her entire underbelly, lol! One dirty little girl! She’d been playing in mole hills-one of her favorite things to do!
We are heading their way next month. I’m looking forward to the visit. 😁
When we got home, we unloaded the car. Then I wanted to head up the road to the neighbor’s farm stand to get a dozen eggs. 🥚 They are a little bit more than the store bought eggs, but they are fresh and taste wonderful! Plus, each dozen is a mix of varieties. I get blue/green, brown, not as brown and white-all in the same carton! I especially like the blue/green ones! 🥚
While out, I captured some nice flowers along the way.
The neighbors next door from our land and across the road from the farm stand, have some new residents!
They seemed very curious and friendly towards us.
