What is the definition of randomness? Grok defines it this way:
Randomness refers to the lack of pattern, predictability, or order in a sequence of events or outcomes. It describes a process or phenomenon where each possible result has an equal or known probability of occurring, without being influenced by prior results or external factors. In mathematics and statistics, randomness is often modeled using probability distributions, such as a uniform distribution for equally likely outcomes. In computing, true randomness is approximated using algorithms (pseudorandom number generators) or derived from unpredictable physical processes (true random number generators). Philosophically, randomness can imply inherent uncertainty or indeterminism in nature.
In my case and for this post, it means little bits of random information and random pictures that may or may not have anything to do with the specific but random content! 😁
Did you know digitalis blooms only every two years? I find that interesting that it takes a year off from blooming. I suppose it takes a lot of energy to grow at times, upwards of 5-6 feet with bloom stalks often close to a foot in length!
Things here in the Northwest begin blooming as early as March ( although I’ve seen trees bloom as early as January) and some plant, shrub or tree will continue to bloom well into October.
Things can be a bit buggy, but it comes and goes in cycles. The hope is to hit the non-buggy cycle! 😎
The rains can continue well into June, creating a phenomenon we call June-uary. It’s June, but rain and temperatures are like January! This is the first June in several years where we haven’t had June-uary. However, we are getting a tiny taste of it this week. I don’t mind as it beats this temperature back in June of 2021!
Nope-don’t need that! I’ll take June-uary anytime!
In August, thoughts will begin to turn towards fall and the coming harvest of crops. Sunflowers are big (literally) in that time of year!
Grass begins to brown out-not green like that photo.
Then fall comes; the rains return and things that have lied dormant suddenly spring up!
I enjoy all of the varieties of plants that grow in my neck of the woods. Except the darn stinging nettle and the poison sumac! We could do without those.
I hope you’ve enjoyed the randomness of my ramblings. When I started this, I had absolutely no idea what I’d end up with.
That’s gonna be it for me. Take care always and enjoy the rest of your day wherever you are! 🙏🌎🙏

NKJV Psalm 19:1-4
The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament shows His handiwork.
Day unto day utters speech,
And night unto night reveals knowledge.
There is no speech nor language
Where their voice is not heard.
Their line has gone out through all the earth,
And their words to the end of the world.
