It was an unusual Tuesday. I had to go in to work for a little bit, but we’d made plans prior to being asked to go into work, to get in the hot tub this morning. So, rather than waste an opportunity to, we got up early to partake of a nice soak!
In uncovering it, I ran into a tree frog similar to the one in the picture, who had been residing between the tarp we cover the lid with to protect it from UV light, and the lid. Being not afraid of nor squeamish by frogs, I scooped him up, spoke to him while he rested on my hand for a minute before leaping off to find another resting place. Then, I proceeded to unlock the straps holding the cover on.
Alas, the time ended quickly and I had to get ready to go to work.
Tuesday’s are a non-doc day, so my morning was quiet. I worked on insurance for Wednesday’s appointments and finished up part of one job from Friday. I also processed a couple of contact lens orders that came in from Monday.
At noon, Yana arrived as I’d been informed of, and after touching base and passing information on, I left to come home.
This morning, there was one lone ‘shroom found.
There’s not been a lot of ‘shrooms, aka toadstools around this past spring. It’s not like it wasn’t wet enough because honestly, it was. They just didn’t pop up!
Since I couldn’t find any fresh toadstools, per se, I dug through the archives for some. Enjoy! 🍄🟫🍄
I’m hoping they are just lying dormant in anticipation of fall. That would be awesome!
