Phoenix has arrived and right now for the next few hours, the kitties have to re-acquaint themselves (from their viewpoint-not Phoenix's, lol). It always takes a few hours and then suddenly, you'll find them all hanging out together.

Today has been nice being at home-I feel almost like I'm playing hooky from work, but honestly, I've not had a vacation of any time off since I started working there 12 years ago. Unfortunately, there is no one else who knows what I know and does what I do at this point, so if I don't work, then there are generally no eyeglass sales and definitely none of the work done that I do. I have hired a gal that I'm hopeful might be able to take some of the pressure off, as someday, I do wish to retire! She's new to the clinic and there's not a lot of time to train the particulars when we are working, but I'm working on it!
