A great day at the beach with family
Yesterday, I told my mom and her husband to go to the beach today. They said yes, surprisingly, she did cause she doesn’t like the beach so much. Maybe she wanted to feel the fresh air since it’s been very hot lately. It was a good idea that we planned this cause we had a great time
We left around noon to enjoy the whole afternoon. It’s very sunny but there are a lot of new coconut trees planted at the beach so we can cover in the shade refreshing next to the beach.
Playa Baracoa has changed a lot over the past three years due to the increasing amount of business opportunities, new restaurants, recreational places and organizations taking care of the beach area. It’s simply amazing cause it looks like a beach on the country side.
We arrived and we noticed the park has been remodeled. Very beautiful what they have done.
New concrete paths, trees and even little bird houses.
A few steps more and this sandal decoration felt like we in Hawaii, but no, we were in Playa Baracoa, Bauta Cuba 🇨🇺
Then, after being there relaxing, we decided to get something to eat. We found this place very cozy with a nice ocean view. Food was delicious, very well cooked, served and seasoned. It was the highlight of the day. We had a nice time there enjoying our food and talking having some beers 🍺, mom had a soft drink instead.
After, we walked around looking a nice area to rest and later on go into the water. As we were looking I took the time to take some pictures.
We found a nice spot. The water was warm, since the weather was so hot.
After spending such a great time at the beach, it was getting late and we had to go back home. Had some coconut water, took a picture with mom and eyes on the road.
A good part also is that had the chance to walk and exercise.
