Happy Halloween! It's been a while since my last actual walking activity due to having a night shift schedule at work, but here I am now adjusting my waking hours just to be able to go see the Witches' Fair on my day off!
We start our adventure in the town of Sant Feliu Sasserra, where this annual festival is held. The streets are filled with artisan stalls and some scheduled street theatre for historical reenactments to remember the women who were accused of witchcraft in the 16th–17th centuries.
This small trek up the town's hill shows the monument called Serrat de les Forques, which is historically the site where accused “witches” from the area were executed during that century.
