housemate js wanted to go to the gym, but sadly i wasn't feeling it. housemate g was still in his vacation so i would be alone doing the gym routine, but i don't want that. so we decided to go for a nightwalk instead. the sky was slightly gloomy but there was only a small chance of rain with a very small volume. the only problem left was which walking route to take.
i guess it is time to ask help from the net. here is what i got which was closest. you can check further details in here. they named it as the tokyo health walk 2024, so whoever created this i really hope you are very healthy and still doing well.

we officially followed the map at this ramen shop. that automatically made me hungry, shrimp and pork bone broth was used for this ramen. the umami in that must be overflowing.

this tunnel was that portion in the lower left part of the map where you cross the train tracks. above this tunnel was the train. at the other side we saw this poster for another music meet. pretty interesting but it will still be in 2 months. i wonder if housemate jb knows about this. he usually invites us for any classical music related stuff.

the path before were all houses and industrial sites. here we finally came and touched the river. it is not my first time to be here but those apartment lights still shine as bright as ever.

yeah, this picture was zoomed for quite a bit and that resulted in this smoothened out texture. those cloudy skies were also adding up to the glow specially at the topmost part of the tower where it seemed that lightning struck. tokyo skytree's lights illuminated even the clouds.
as we were walking on shioiri park following the riverbanks, we naturally got a better and better view of this tower. this was the last picture taken after so many attempts of taking a decent one.

i think this is but my 2nd time to visit this ishihama shrine, right at the bottom right corner of the trail map. i always pass by the place at the other side of the road so i always miss the shrine.

this shrine dates back centuries ago, but was only relocated in this present location in the 1980s still making sure that it looked like how it used to. i cannot imagine how they did it but careful and detailed planning must have been made.

these circular installations looked fun. housemate js speculated that children must have looked through these silver openings. that is very possible as there was a kindergarten school nearby.

we were walking beside this very large jr train warehouse, and this jizo statues were at the corner.

we are finally near the end of the trail, further past this underpass is the minami senju station. it was around here when we were quickly looking for a toilet. i badly needed to pee after that quite long walk.

we had to make a slight detour at the end part to find the closest toilet as quick as possible. it was also cold which definitely did not help at all. i thought to myself, if i really could not find a toilet, i could probably do it in a deserted place. luckily this park came to view.

i was so relieved! i was saved! i was no longer in a hurry, i even had the time to check out all the flower designs they had in this small park. these were doodles made without lifting your pen, very nice! i got to learn flower names too.
from here, it was but an easy stroll back home. we even visited the gym just to use the massage chair. that was a fun health walk but with a path without any accessible public toilet, i wonder if it is the best route. that last part near the warehouse was just brutal, and holding your pee is definitely not good for the health.
as always, AMPING KANUNAY!
