My Actifit Report Card: May 12 2026 - My Alive and Thriving Monday!

Hello friends and happy Tuesday evening I wish you and also want to thank you for your visit!

This is a report for yesterday's activities - which were varied!

So first thing when I got home from feeding the Kitty and Tortoise at the old house I saw this Anole on my porch - happily eating bugs!

And then he took off! I am sure it came back out after I went inside!

After awhile I rode "Brutus" over to the Park. This is a view North, and I figured something out!

This is a.biew towards the mouth of the Channel and you will get a better idea of what I am saying,

So, as you can see (I hope, I know it's hazy) all the poles have a new pole next to them. That's what all the dredging and airboat (and helicopter) trips across the Channel to the Island have been about - "replacing poles"!
You can see in this photo that they also raised the Wires about 5 feet / 1.52 meters.

And this is a view across the Channel at Mustang Island yesterday,

After not seeing anything else interesting and wanting to get in the miles I left there and rode around a little. This is the Christian Gateway Center,

And yes, they mowed down all the Sunflowers that were in the field! Well they will be back in 2 weeks - tops!

After I got back home I was out in front of my house and saw these "Puff Ball" Mushrooms growing! It's a first! I had seen any here last year or the year before!

And finally, turning around from them and looking on the porch I saw that the only Shrimp Plant cutting that survived also had a very tiny flower,
I guess that the cuttings are as mature as the plant they come from so it's normal, though I do wish the other cuttings would have made it!
