Hello Actifit community and fitness enthusiasts!

There is nothing quite like escaping the hustle and bustle of the town center to recharge your batteries in nature. Today is Tuesday, June 2, 2026, and I decided to head back to one of my absolute favorite walking spots: the expansive and beautiful Richmond Park. The weather was absolutely perfect for trekking mild temperatures, soft clouds, and a refreshing breeze that made a long outdoor session pure joy.
I am proud to share that I've secured another highly active day, closing out my Tuesday evening with an awesome total of 13,040 steps!
Hit 25 Days in a Row Quarter Century Streak!
While hitting over 13k steps feels great on its own, the real victory today is on my consistency dashboard. As shown in the app, I have officially reached a 25 day consistency streak!
Looking at that perfect line of green checkmarks spanning from last Wednesday all the way to today is incredibly rewarding. Reaching 25 days means this isn't just a temporary challenge anymore it is a locked in, healthy lifestyle habit. I also noticed a huge update banner on the app home screen today Actifit Android v0.14.0 Momentum Biggest Update Yet! It’s always exciting to see the platform evolving and adding new features to help us keep our momentum going strong.
Exploring the Trails and Bridleways.
Richmond Park is famous for its massive ancient trees, wild deer, and vast open spaces. Today, I spent a lot of my time exploring the quieter paths and trails that run alongside the park's designated horse riding tracks.
I came across a distinct triangular warning sign on the grass verge illustrating a horse and rider, reminding drivers and cyclists to watch out for horses crossing the road. The backdrop of lush ferns and deep green oak trees stretching into the distance was incredibly peaceful. Walking in an environment like this, where you are surrounded by ancient woodlands and the sounds of nature, makes the distance fly by. Before you know it, your step count has increased by thousands without you even feeling the fatigue.
Keeping the Momentum Alive into June.
Starting the second day of June with over 13,000 steps gives me a massive boost of energy for the rest of the week. If you ever find your daily walking routine getting a bit repetitive, my biggest recommendation is to seek out a large nature reserve or national park near you. The changing terrain, wildlife, and sheer scale of the landscape will instantly bring the excitement back into your fitness journey.
