Happy Monday! Today is June 15, 2026, and a brand-new week is officially underway. After wrapping up the weekend with a peaceful riverside stroll in Kingston upon Thames yesterday, I decided to shift my focus back toward the local historic streets for my Monday evening walk. The weather was pleasantly mild perfect for clearing my head after a busy day and keeping my daily steps moving at a fantastic pace.
I am incredibly excited to share that I started the week on a massive high, finishing the day with an amazing total of 13,181 steps!
Unstoppable Habits The 31-Day Streak Marches On!
Hitting the 10k daily target is always a great milestone, but true victory lies in maintaining an unbroken rhythm. Checking my Actifit app dashboard, today's great total keeps my phenomenal 31 day consistency streak burning bright!
Looking at that flawless row of green checkmarks running straight from last Tuesday all the way to tonight is the ultimate source of daily motivation. While checking my stats tonight, I also spotted a massive update banner on the app home feed Actifit's Spring Refresh Security, SEO, Smoother Experience & More! It's awesome to see the platform continually evolving and upgrading the user experience while we focus on keeping our physical momentum high.
Discovering History on Old London Road
The visual highlight of my evening trek today was passing by a beautifully maintained piece of local history right in the heart of town.
As captured in my photo, I stopped to admire the distinctive brick planter marking the entrance to Old London Road. The mosaic tiling spelling out the road name looks incredibly charming, nestled underneath a lush bed of blooming purple lavender bushes. In the background, classic brick and white fronted residential houses stand under a soft, overcast evening sky, surrounded by mature green trees. Skipping the busy main roads to explore these historic local routes makes matching your step goals feel like a walk in the park!
Setting a Powerful Tone for the Week
Securing over 13,000 steps on a Monday evening gives me a massive boost of energy for the days ahead. Building this level of consistency has completely reshaped my daily routine, proving that staying active is just about showing up for yourself day after day. If you are finding it a bit tough to motivate yourself at the start of the working week, I highly recommend stepping out onto a historic path or an interesting local trail letting a bit of local charm guide your feet is the perfect way to smash your fitness goals!
