Happy Friday! Today is June 26, 2026, and we have officially made it to the weekend! After a peaceful evening routing through the wide open spaces of Richmond Park yesterday, I brought my steps back into town tonight for a lively urban stroll through Kingston upon Thames. The clear blue skies and bright afternoon sun made it a beautiful day to hit the pavement, explore the local streets, and comfortably smash my fitness targets.
I am absolutely delighted to share that tonight's town walk was a massive success, wrapping up the working week with a fantastic total of 12,128 steps!

Smashing past the 10k goal to wrap up a Friday feels incredible, but nothing beats looking at a perfectly maintained streak to showcase the power of daily discipline. Checking my Actifit app dashboard, tonight's successful walk keeps my wonderful 31 day streak running flawlessly!
Seeing that unbroken row of vibrant green checkmarks stretch right from last Saturday all the way through to Friday night is an incredibly satisfying visual reward. While syncing up my data this evening, I also noticed a huge new announcement banner on the home feed Actifit Android v0.14.0 Momentum Biggest Update Yet! It is always exciting to see the platform dropping massive new updates to keep us moving with confidence!
Discovering the Colorful Murals of Queen Elizabeth Road.
The absolute visual highlight of my evening trek was stumbling upon a beautiful piece of local street art that brought an immediate splash of color to my routine workout.
As captured in my photo, my walking route took me past a striking white building on the corner of Queen Elizabeth Road. The entire side wall features a gorgeous, large scale mural of two stylized trees sporting an explosion of rainbow colored leaves blowing in the wind. Looking closer, there are delightful, whimsical details painted into the scene a little girl on a tree swing watering the roots below, and a fluffy grey cat sitting calmly near the street sign. Pausing to appreciate unique, vibrant neighborhood landmarks like this makes logging your daily miles feel like an absolute joy.

Securing over 12,000 steps by Friday evening sets the absolute perfect high energy tone for a relaxing Saturday and Sunday ahead. Committing to this lifestyle has completely reshaped my perspective on daily health it shows that staying fit is simply about choosing to lace up your shoes, step outside, and enjoy the unexpected beauty hiding right around the corner.
