Happy Wednesday! Today is July 8, 2026, and we are officially at the midweek mark. After spending yesterday evening surrounded by the wide open spaces of Richmond Park, I decided to switch up the scenery tonight and head back down toward the refreshing breeze of the River Thames. The bright blue sky and scattered white clouds made it an absolutely magnificent afternoon to stretch my legs along the waterfront paths and clear my mind.
I am incredibly excited to share that today was a massive win, wrapping up my Wednesday with an excellent total of 13,504 steps!
Midweek Check In The 31Day Streak Stays Flawless!
Slamming past the 13k mark on a Wednesday feels fantastic, but the ultimate reward is keeping a perfectly consistent habit alive. Checking my Actifit app dashboard, tonight's successful tracking ensures my magnificent 31 day streak remains completely unbroken!
Seeing that flawless row of green checkmarks stretch right from last Thursday all the way through to tonight is the ultimate daily motivation. While syncing my stats this evening, I also noticed the featured home feed update banner Actifit Android v0.14.0 Momentum Biggest Update Yet! It is always great to see the platform keeping things moving forward behind the scenes while we crush our physical health targets!
Nautical Vibes Along the Thames Path.
The absolute highlight of my walk today was watching the peaceful boat life gliding and docking along the riverbanks. Taking a route right next to the water always makes the extra miles completely fly by.
As captured in my photo, I came across a beautiful, large house boat moored peacefully along the river. The boat was proudly flying two flags the classic St. George's Cross and a striking black and white Yin and Yang flag right below it rippling gently in the summer breeze. With the lush green trees lining the banks and the bright afternoon sun bouncing off the ripples of the water, it felt like the perfect summer postcard. Spotting these unique riverside scenes right from the trail makes tracking our daily activity feel entirely effortless.
Charging into the Rest of the Week
Locking in over 13,500 steps by Wednesday night leaves me feeling balanced, energized, and completely ready to cruise through the rest of the week.
