Hey Actifitters,
Lots of sun yesterday and of course that means lots of outdoor time. A few deer decided to hang out in the front yard.
Although it was cute, Kaia was really not happy about it, running along the fence, barking at them. Good thing I was there, otherwise I am not sure she'd have resisted the urge to jump over the fence. Le Chat was looking at her like she was crazy: "Why do you waste so much energy?..."
But that was still not enough energy for Kaia, with the deer right there, she needed to burn off the extra energy. Running around and fetching tennis balls was a good alternative.
At least until we started our long walk behind the front yard. Unfortunately for Kaia, the deer were gone.
Le Chat joined us and went on her own exploration near the forest edge. It's a big world for her out there.
While walking to the bigger forest, we met more wildlife, as the squirrels were of course enjoying the sun too.
It's pretty amazing how the forest changed in the last few days. In spite of the temperatures roller-coaster, vegetation is waking up, with lots of green already.
And still the puddles for Kaia to have fun!
We walked our usual loop in the forest, except for a few small detours to avoid some of the many people also out there.
In the evening, we had another show planned, two in a row this weekend! This time at the Fisher Theater in Detroit.
The show was called 'Naruto the Symphonic Experience'. A film montage of the first 220 episodes of Naruto with a live orchestra. Plenty of die-hard fans with costumes and all, but even for us who didn't know much of Naruto, if anything, the show was really cool.
Well, it was another good well balanced day, outdoor activities in the sun and a show in town in the evening. I just missed the 20k steps mark again, but it was pretty close.
On to the new week now!
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
