Hey Actifitters,
When I remembered my plan yesterday was to work on house cleaning, I really felt like being like Le Chat. In spite of being very aware of everything (see the eyes very slightly open) she was sleeping hard!
I managed to be a bit less lazy than her, at least until we went for our long daily walk.
That made Le Chat move too, she wanted to eat grass and hang out with her sister before we went to the forest.
It's always funny to me to imagine wildlife in human situations, like this squirrel having a deep conversation with that fake deer.
That wasn't the only squirrel we met on our way to the forest. There's one that looks like it's smoking a cigarette, another one thinking that it's invisible if it stays completely still between two trees.
Anyways, we quickly made it to the forest.
In spite of the recent rainy days, the puddles near the entrance have receded a lot, to Kaia's disappointment. That was a good spot for photos, still not bad even without the water.
I guess chasing deer and squirrels can get tiring, because Kaia needed several breaks. She forgets she's almost 9 sometimes.
She wasn't tired enough to skip the inspection of the teepees though.
She just has to check everything looks in order.
As we had plenty of time, we walked pretty much all the trails multiple times, and enjoyed all the green, definitely the color of the moment.
Even better when the sun decides to show up a little bit. It stayed mostly cloudy though.
We met many people and dog walkers, and when it was time to walk back home, we couldn't cut through the same usual way, because some of them seem a bit scared of Kaia. She wouldn't do anything to them of course, unless she was attacked or I told her, but some people are just scared of big dogs. Anyways, we went off-trail instead, it was nice too.
Well, in spite of not being very efficient with the cleaning (I guess it was still better than the usual 'completely useless'), it was a good day thanks to our usual outdoor time. And bonus: another bar cleared for #poprzeczka competition, yay!!
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
