Hey Actifitters,
Since we had nothing special planned for Memorial day, it was basically just more of the same. And for Le Chat, that often means sleepy time, yawning in the lawn for instance.
But she also hung out with her sister in the yard of course.
We started our daily walk as usual behind the front yard.
While Kaia was busy inspecting, Le Chat just wanted to play.
Just as usual, we walked to the bigger forest next.
The puddles near the entrance are all pretty much dried up, just a little mud left.
And the trails are also all puddle-free, just muddy here and there.
Kaia still has some of her winter coat, so even if it's not too hot yet, she does feel the heat.
She took the lead anyways on the single track.
And out of the forest.
Once again, we met lots of squirrels on the way back. This one didn't even stop its lunch while we passed by.
Like the day before, it was a great day for espressos on the deck.
Kaia acted like the clown she is, splashing water all over.
And of course, when she finally slowed down, Le Chat kept wondering why she wasted so much energy...
I wasn't exactly sure of what to do next and finally decided to go for a run. Just a 5k, because it had been a few weeks since my last run. It was tough but it went okay. And in the end, my step count ended up above 30k, also first time in a while I think. And another bar cleared for #poprzeczka!
Now back into the regular work week, let's try and keep the steps up!
