Hey Actifitters,
It seems we're really kind of stuck in our workweek routine these days. Except yesterday it was disturbed by the rain: when we got ready for our daily walk, it was raining somewhat heavily. So we had to wait it out for a while. As soon as it slowed down, Kaia and Le Chat started the inspection of the yard.
And when it fully stopped, we started our walk behind the front yard.
I'm starting to think I might not feed them sufficiently because these two keep eating grass!
After we left and got on our way to the forest, we met this other neighborhood cat. Kaia wanted to see it closer of course.
Sometimes cats can be a bit dumb. Instead of fleeing when Kaia lunged at it (no worries, I kind of knew she wouldn't resist, and I kept the leash tight), it just stayed there with its arched back (I read somewhere it's sometimes called Halloween cat pose). That didn't impress Kaia.
We didn't stay anyways and continued towards the forest.
With all the new scents, Kaia had already forgotten about this cat.
Since it was getting pretty muddy, we kept our loops in the forest kind of short, and extended our walk in the neighborhood instead.
Well, the rain tried to keep us inside, but we managed a pretty decent walk anyways. Combined with pacing during a couple of long phone calls, that made up a surprisingly good step count. Not good enough for #poprzeczka though. Last chance on Thursday. Maybe I'll try going for a run to get me closer to the 29k steps required. We'll see how the day goes.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
