Hey Actifitters,
With temperatures unexpectedly going back over 80F, the mood yesterday was lazy. And of course, for Le Chat, it's the usual mood.
But with the fall colors starting to show, outdoor time is a must. In the yard.
Behind the front yard.
Or in the neighborhood while heading to the forest.
Still mostly green in the forest though.
The plan for the day was for two short walks instead of a long one. That's easier for Kaia (and me) with the heat (yes I do know 80F isn't that hot, but too hot for us!). But it was quite nice in the forest and we walked more than expected.
The chipmunks were also out there enjoying the sun.
Even during her very focused exploration, Kaia doesn't seem to register these chipmunks. They're small but she should be able to see them. Maybe she already understood she had no chance to catch them and just ignores them.
One more loop and we were on our way back home.
I thought we'd go for our second walk to catch the sunset, but I got lazy and we started a bit late, when it was already getting dark.
So we just walked in the neighborhood checking again where to find the first fall colors.
After catching the very last sunset colors, we headed back home and that was it for the day's activities.
Well, it wasn't as active as I planned, but it was a nice lazy-ish day with lots of outdoor time. Step count is lower but still enough to clear the bar in #poprzeczka competition, so all good. I need to keep my running training going this week, let's see when I have the time.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
