Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday started again pretty much the same. We really enjoy spending time in the yard monitoring the foliage colors, even if like I mentioned, the most colorful part is pretty much gone already.
We still have several other ones and more that will follow.
Obviously Le Chat ain't impressed...
With Kaia's limping not really improving, the plan was again to only walk to the small forest behind the front yard.
It's a blurry but Le Chat has her own way of going there, under the fence, so she doesn't have to go around like us. Laziness can be efficient sometimes! Then she can scratch and explore as much as she wants.
Again, after a little warm up, Kaia seemed better, so we went further into the forest.
Not a whole lot of colors, but the sun was really bright!
It's not very visible on a photo, but even if she looked better, I could notice Kaia was still avoiding putting too much weight on one of her back leg.
But she quickly went even deeper into the forest and I just followed.
Until she turned around and indicated something was there.
What was it? Le Chat! She very rarely follows us that far into the forest.
She had fun walking back with us.
She didn't follow when we added a little distance in the neighborhood though. After that, it was enough for Kaia too, and time for me to go for a run. It was still daylight when I started, but the sun goes down quickly these days and it was fully dark soon after I started. I had anticipated this time, with my visibility harness and headlight. I ended up running only 8km but it wasn't bad. Because we have plans for the week end (involving hiking, so I hope Kaia will be fine), I'm not sure I'll have time for a run, so I'll try another one on Friday, if time allows.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
